Myrline M: Based on the research that I have gathered for the bioengineering my feelings regarding Designer babies have differently changed. My feelings have changed because in the beginning of my bioengineering project I thought that Designer Babies were not human and was seriously against the fact that Scientist altering DNA in order to create life and not in the natural way that it is usually gone. But by the near end of the project I have realized that Designer babies have an amazing purpose. For example, if Parents has a child who is very ill that they can go to the doctors and have the doctor make a designer baby for the price of 18,000.and that baby would be a living donor that donates any body part that the sick child will need. A couple can also get a designer baby if they choose because they could never reproduce an offspring. And the most important thing Designer babies can be creating just to treat people with rare blood diseases or any other kind.
Sherri: My feeling after researching my bioengineering didn’t change because before researching designer babies I felt that it was just not right to toy with life and that we should just leave it to the greater powers; but at the sometime it was cool that some time in the human race that we could actually can create life. After researching the concept I still believe it is not right because there are a lot of con’s considering the concept like for example the price (18,000) but even so there are lots of good things about it like for example the child can be born with no diseases, the parents can make the babies in to look, act and think anything they want and more.
Based on my research that I have done my feelings against designer babies did not change. I say this because designing a baby just to make him/her look or act a certain way kind of shows that if that baby does not look like you want it to look then you wouldn't care and love that baby like you would love the baby that you designed. Some people may say that this type of bioengeening is okay but I think it's not right to that.

Because what it could do for our future is amazing it could free us from diseases like asthma. It could also give the parents a chance to pick their kids looks and characteristics for example they could choose their kids hair color eye color or even choose their kid to be a smart or athletic kid by altering DNA.
